What is Goldline?
Goldline is Meridian’s Telephone Helpdesk Service
If you have attended a Meridian training course you are automatically
entitled to 3 months free telephone support on the product you
received training on. If you would like to continue the service
or think you and your staff could benefit from having additional
products supported please read on.
How often have you or your staff experienced “the battle”
to receive support with your particular software query? The answer:
probably too often! Searching all over the office for the technical
support number, listening to recorded messages “All are
support staff are busy at the moment you have been placed in a
queue...”, enduring the hold music while you wait (specifically
chosen to ensure you hang up!) these experiences are unfortunately
all to common.
The costs incurred while this test of endurance takes place cannot
be overlooked. Unproductive waiting time, missed deadlines, frustration,
to say nothing of the increased telephone bills.

The Meridian Goldline Telephone Support service is available
exclusively to Meridian clients. It offers authorised PC software
users the opportunity to call and discuss particular software
queries and problems with our experienced technical support
analysts in a friendly, easy to understand, efficient and professional
manner.
Many users are now working from home or taking portables and
notebooks home in the evening and weekends to work on reports,
budgets and presentations. Encountering a software problem during
this time usually means having to wait until the following morning
before you are able to receive support. The Meridian Goldline
Telephone service can provide support not only for users working
within normal business hours but also caters for those who are
working from home or in the office during non-standard hours.
This service can be available 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Only those users who have been authorised may access the telephone
service. Calls are billed in accordance with your chosen support
option.
The Meridian Goldline Telephone service is also available to
internal company help-desks. Assisting as a backup for overflow,
after hours support or technical assistance.
